I don't mind coming home, if you need me. I'd much rather that than finding police here looking for you, you know?

[The redhead considered a moment, sighing softly himself. What a mess. But, he still was pleasantly shocked that Byakuran had called him instead of just lashing out in response.

It left Shouichi feeling very much like he'd made the right call to trust him. He smiled at him fondly for a moment.] Did you want tea? Or wine? Or anything really?

I can't think of anything...

[He hummed to himself, tugging Shouichi gently, wanting him to lie beside him so he could hold him.] Both sound really nice.

[Had been considering shifting to lay down anyway, so with the tugs, he swung his legs over and settled down beside the taller man.]

You can have both, though might be weird at the same time, heh.

[And feeling rather affectionate, he wrapped an arm around Byakuran's waist.]

Mm, it would be a little weird to have it together.

[Smiling faintly, he snuggled Shouichi closer to him, kissing his forehead.] Thanks again for coming home. I almost didn't want to take you away from work.

Honestly, I don't mind. I mean, I know I work a lot and I want to make more progress there, but that's only so I can find someway to keep us here.

It is interesting of course too, and I like the challenge of something new to throw myself into, but I'd rather be here if that's where you need me to be.

[He lifted his head, green eyes meeting lilac.] I'm really glad you called me. I, well... I guess I'm happy that you even thought to and then did.

Instead of going on a homicidal rampage like I really wanted to?

[Grinned, having seriously considered it and frankly, he thought he'd have been more than justified to do so.]

You wouldn't trust me after something like that. And you'd have gotten pissed off and I don't like dealing with a pissy Shou-chan.

Y-Yes, instead of that...

[And he guessed right, something like that would have likely ruined everything they'd been working toward. The redhead sighed at the thought, trying to shake it off and lifted a hand to run it through Byakuran's bangs absently.]

Well, I'm home now and here with you. And given the smiles, are you feeling any less homicidal?

Mm. A little bit.

Shou-chan should make me food. I don't know what I want though. So maybe we should just order a lot of things and lounge around and get fat.

I want a cream soda. Hmm. We need some of those, too.

[Annnnd now he was lost in his thoughts, mm, food~]

[Sat up just enough to smile down at him quietly.]

Anything you want.

[Byakuran wouldn't hear that from Shouichi very often, that was certain.]

I'll cook or we can order and I'm not sure how, but we'll get cream soda - should be some at the conbini two blocks down, right?

[Byakuran smiled brightly and sat up with Shouichi, hugging him close, pulling him onto his lap. He leaned forward, kissing his forehead.]

Those are dangerous words, Irie Shouichi!

I think ordering would be best. I want everything. And yeah, I think there's some at the conbini. I always see it but never pick any up.

I'm aware they are and I still said them. Consider it a testament to the good mood you put me in.

[He shifted on the other man's lap a little and considered a moment.] Well we can order the food and I can walk down and pick up the cream soda while we're waiting. Sound good?

And when you say everything, I assume I'm going to be calling multiple places?
