[Somarium, have a panicked broadcast from one of those still severely ill and only getting worse, since he wasn't doing a great job of taking care of himself, so concerned with his roommate. He's clearly flushed, there are dark circles under his eyes and he's sweating and out of breath when the video feed flicks on. One of his lenses also appears to be cracked, but he's paying it no mind. He looks like he's in a darkened room as well, hunched close to the Dreamberry, speaking in hurried hush tones.]

S-Someone has to come help me... There is a man here, I don't know when he arrived, but he tries to kill me in my world and I can't get away from him. He's in my apartment and he's going to kill me!

T-They both want me dead, I know it. Y-Yamamoto-kun? Cavallone-san? Even Hibari-san or Gokudera-kun, one... one of you could stop him right?.. They are here.

[He suddenly jerks away from the feed, staring at something in terror and the line goes dead with no other warning.]

[And for some reason when Chrome answers his call, Shouichi's illness-induced delerium doesn't see the girl, rather but the man who used her body as a vessel.]

Y-You, when did you get here...?

[He wasn't sure if he trusted Mukuro either!]

[Softly, tugging his blanket back up, tucking him in.] But only if you keep the blanket on and get some rest. I'll be keeping an eye on you.

I've been here awhile... [ No Mukuro, just a slightly confused Chrome. ]

You said someone wanted to kill you? You... need help? [ A bit of a stupid question, but she just wants to make sure. After all maybe one of the others already helped you. ]

[He shook as he coughed hard for several minutes and then sat straight back up.] B-But he's sick! I have to take care of him...

[And he promptly shoved him back down onto the bed, tucking him in again.] Stop it. Now. He'll be fi-

[Though of course as he was saying that he was taken by a sudden coughing fit.]

[And it was as if the sound of Byakuran's coughing flipped a switch, green eyes widening as he sat himself back up while Byakuran coughed.]

...Byakuran-san? I've been worried sick! [He pushed up his broken glasses and reached over to wrap an arm around the other's shoulders.]

Where.... where have you been?

Huh...?

[Tiredly, giving him a weird look as he was suddenly recognized and hugged.] Shou-chan. I've been here the whole time...

[Nuzzling into his neck, he sat with him, cuddling against him, giving him a squeeze. At least for now he seemed to be okay.] You're very, very sick.

But you're sick too... He was here! [Clinging to the white haired man now, burying his face into his neck.] Kikyo was here.... [Shuddered against him.]

Ohhhh, Kikyo-chan~ [Mumbled, mostly to himself. That made sense now. Smiling gently, he brushed his bangs from his face and kissed his forehead.]

It's okay. He won't harm you, I promise. If he shows up again, just listen. You don't have to be scared. You're under my protection.

[That forehead would feel like it was on fire under Byakuran's lips and all Shouichi could do was nod his head and cling to the other man as his fever continued to make him dizzy.]

.... I couldn't find you. And I think the others are here too. I could hear voices in the apartment... [And his eyes are already drooping, body sagging into the other.]

Mm. I'm going to tell everyone that you're off-limits. No one will touch you, I promise, so there's no need to be scared.

[Kissing his forehead again, he gave him a squeeze and rubbed his back as he laid down with him, covering them both with the blanket. Lightly, he mumbled against his ear;] Nothing will happen to my Shouichi.

... b-because you love me... right? You don't want me dead now...

[It was so hot, but he was so tired and sore and Byakuran was close, for once he didn't cast off the blankets and just stayed in place, drifting off into a half-awake, half-asleep state.]

[Softly, still into his ear, trying to calm him.] Because I love you and I want you with me. Forever.

[Shouichi didn't stir again for almost an hour before nightmares started to plague his sleep and jolted him awake in a fresh panic. He didn't even see Byakuran as he slipped away and began to scour the apartment in his paranoia.]

I wouldn't have missed a guy like you arriving... b-but you are Vongola at least. I need help, it isn't safe here, but I can't get out of here.

I'm trapped.

E-Edennel Apartments.... [And his face screws up in frustration - he can't even remember his own apartment number.] Really high up.

[And then he stills... what if this man was working with them? His eyes widened and he gives Ichigo a hesitant look.]

[He was sleeping soundly beside him. It was a moment before he rolled over into Shouichi's warm spot and woke up, immediately realizing that he had left. With a wince, he pushed himself up out of bed and went out to search the apartment for him.]

Shou-chan...?

[He'd find the redhead peering out the windows, wide eyed and confused looking.]

Where.... did all the flowers go? There were so many thorns.

And they just kept piling them on me... couldn't breathe...

[Just mumbling and talking to himself as he glanced around in utter confusion.]

Shou-chan?

[Called a little louder, seeing him there by the windows. He walked over and placed a hand on his shoulder again.] You should be back in bed.

Really high up? Can't you be more specific?

[ Chrome's gonna look down at herself for a moment, yep she's still a girl. She'll just go with it though, for now. ] If you say so...

Where are you trapped? Who is there? [ Because It's kind of hard to help if she doesn't know anything. ]

Uhh.... Shouichi...? Where are you?

[He's a little worried that this is just his hallucination, but he figured he would help either way.]

Woah-! Seriously?

Maa, I can be right over if you want. Ah, maybe you should hide until then?

[Shouichi didn't seem to hear him and didn't respond until he felt the hand on his shoulder, that caused him to jump almost straight in the air and fall over as his legs refused to support his even slight weight afterward. So he stared up at Byakuran owlishly from the floor.]
