I was just kidding before! I didn't expect REAL prehistoric animals to start showing up! A-Ahem...

Is there a place where more people are gathering together to try and keep safe in bigger numbers? If so, I'd appreciate some general directions there because I just spent several hours getting out of a tree and down a small cliff to try and keep out of reach and another two getting back up when things decided I still smelled like prey.

Given that this is supposedly a dream world, this will let up and change eventually right? Dreams, even nightmares... they don't go on forever...

Right?

Normally I wouldn't expect something like all of this to just magically get better, but given how suddenly it came on, I'm hoping it can vanish just as suddenly.

If I had some tools with me I could try to mess with this to track down your signal, but I lost what I had with me a few days ago now. Do you have any way of telling me where you are? Because sticking to myself is not an attractive option right now. Any kind of safety in numbers would be good...

...It is rather difficult to tell at the moment, I am afraid. The trees all appear rather similar. However, Lady Lyn and I did pass by a river not too long ago, if that assists you?

That may help, but if I traveled along it in the wrong direction... the animals around here are going to be drawn toward a clean water source.

Do you see any other landmarks? What direction is that giant volcano from you right now?

Which direction are you traveling along the river and is the volcano close enough for you to see yourself?

We are travelling away from the volcano, though yes, it is still quite close.

[A pause again. In reality, he is judging the distance by means of the shadow the volcano casts. Don't judge him. It's a simple mathematical algorithm.]

We are not far from the volcano. We are certainly within five hundred feet of it.

I'm probably at least a couple hours away from you on foot from here... More actually since the terrain isn't going to be easy to navigate. Do you plan on just maintaining that direction for now and sticking along the river?

There is a friend I'm still waiting to hear back from and he may have found some place safe to stay as well. He certainly isn't in any danger at least, I imagine. But he's apt to just disappear on a whim and meanwhile I'm on my own...

If I don't hear back from him within the next hour or so, I'll set out in your direction.
